Lladro
Kokeshi I, II, III
Inspired by Kokeshi or traditional Japanese wooden dolls, this piece represents an updated vision of millennial heritage
Face 2 Face
"Face 2 Face is a new collection that opens with three cute little birds that combine synthetized forms with a two-fold decorative treatment. Toucan, Sparrow and Hummingbird are created using different techniques. On one side, the wings and feathers are minutely etched while, on the other, they are represented with line drawing. And so, one face is decorated with enamels and varnishes and the other with black on white. The birds’ beaks are finished in iridescent tones and each piece comes with a black lacquered metal support. A light-hearted treatment for creations that speak to us of duality and the complexity of opposites. After all, who hasn’t got more than one face?"
The Guest
The Guest is a piece created by Jaime Hayon for The Guest collection by Lladró Atelier, the brand's ideas lab, which invites leading artists from around the world to customise this unique character. The series includes collaborations by Paul Smith, Devilrobots, Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Rolito and Hayon himself.
Panther Figurine
Panther is a porcelain sculpture in the classic style of the brand, but with a geometric approach. It belongs to the Origami collection, inspired by the Japanese art of paper-folding, creating objects from a single sheet of paper. Gloss finish porcelain with imaginative touches of color. This piece comes in an alternative matte black porcelain, with just a touch of color in the eyes. Both sculptures work perfectly as single figures, although they complement each other very well as a pair. The perfect gift. Made in Spain.
Ink Collection
Ink Collection, inspired by the age-old art of tattooing. Like its predecessor Swallow, this work recalls the famous illustrations by Sailor Jerry, one of the top exponents of the Old School style of tattoos from 1930s USA. The piece comes with a metal bar and base to place it on a flat surface, and it also has a metal plaque on the back for hanging on the wall.
