Pillow Talk

Let's be honest, we all know how much a pillow can effect our sleep patterns. But what about how a pillow can effect our space. Let's move from the bed to the sofa and talk all things pillows. When creating an inviting pillow scape there are a million options. Our simple look is driven by a few pillows in varying sizes. You always want to work your way in and downsize as you go. The largest should always be first and then get smaller towards the middle, making sure your guests are comfortable and not squishing those larger pillows.

Color schemes come next. Picking complimentary elements will make your pillows pop! Picking your main base color will tie in all the pillows so that while they may remain different, they have a cohesive appearance from afar. For a monochromatic look, try varying shades  One of our favorite elements to mix and match is texture. This drives not only visual interest, but touch as well.

Symmetry is your friend when it comes to your large and medium size pillows. These should be a proportion that accents the furniture. Our goal is to emphasize the chairs and sofas and not hide them. Match the sizes of your two large and two medium and give it a ‘tilt’ off balance by adding a small lumbar, round, or mini pillow off to one side.
