Blankets for Fall

‘Tis the season… or at least almost the season. While we know it’s been 90 and sunny our minds have officially entered fall mode. That means blankets have entered the chat. So where do we put them, how do we style them and which blankets scream “COZY”.

For starters a chunky knit blanket allows you to tie in color stories in a spare bedroom or living room setting. It can be a way to utilize those accent colors from your wallpaper or to mesh well with the pillows. It also, depending on knit size, leads way to texture being it’s own element. So, when simplicity is your thing adding a neutral knit blanket gives just the right amount of texture to pop in a minimalistic environment.

Also new in at ROOM are our fur blankets. These bad boys are the show stopper, they add a bit of glam to any space. While they lend themselves to fitting most styles we love to see them in cozy posh spaces or a den like setting for darker furs. Throw a white fur blanket over a wooden and leather chair and immediately make it more inviting and soft.

No matter your style, there are so many options to choose from. Not just knit and fur. It’s important to find what speaks to you and makes your home feel not only inviting to others but to yourself!
